Abstract
    We examined the magnitude of induced astigmatism in patients operated on by phacoemulsification cataract with IOL implantation through a 2.2 mm incision. The study analyzed 80 patients (100 eyes). Revealed that 86% of patients induced astigmatism not greater than 0.5 diopters. Cylindrical correction needed four patients. It can be concluded that phacoemulsification cataract through an incision is 2.2 mm astigmatic neutral operation.
