Abstract
    The clinical-statistical analysis of the reasons of the neglected cases of primary open-angle glaucoma was carried out. All reasons were divided into two groups: «factors of the doctor» and «factors of the patient». References on well-timed identification and treatment of patients with glaucoma for the purpose of blindness prophylaxis are designated.
