Purpose. To evaluate the FAG controlled effectiveness of CSC treatment.
Material and methods. We examined 20 patients (20 eyes) with CSC (18 men, 2 women) aged from 23 to 51 year. All patients were underwent focal laser coagulation, found on FAG level filtering with a laser coagulator («GYC — 1000», Nidek, Japan), ?=0,532 m. Depending on the method of implementation of the focal laser coagulation, all patients were divided into 2 groups. Group 1 (10 patients, 10 eyes) was underwent TFLK by standard methods. Group 2 (10 patients, 10 eyes) was underwent SFLC in CSC leakage point.
Results. When neuroepithelium reattachment and recovery of visual acuity in both groups did not differ and was about 18,7±4,7 days. Average visual acuity before surgery was 0,54±0,16, a month after surgery — 1,2±0,3. After performing TFLC in coagulation in the late periods chorioretinal scar formation was observed. After SFLC chorioretinal scar was not formed, marked changes were found in the field of application of laser applications only in the autofluorescence pictures.
Conclusion. SFLC of leakage point has the similar effectiveness as standard TFLC. The main advantage to SFLC over TFLC — is slight changes in the pigment epithelium of coagulation.
