Abstract

    Purpose. Тo evaluate the efficiency of complex treatment for noninfectious meibomian gland dysfunction and dry eye syndrome at workers of the cement production. 32 non-infectious dry eye syndrome patients (at the age of 39-59 years) were examined before and after treatment by medicines. Positive therapeutic effect was noted in all of the observed.

    However efficiency of carried-out treatment and rates of decrease in weight of the main clinical symptoms of considered diseases were higher at patients applying Systane Balance. The complex treatment gives the significant reduction of subjective symptoms and both functional and objective signs of the disease at non-infectious meibomian gland dysfunction and dry eye syndrome workers of cement production.
