Analysis of risk factors in development of secondary immunodeficiency status (SIDS) and the incidence of diseases associated with secondary immunodeficiency in children of general educational institutions
Российский национальный исследовательский медицинский университет им. Н.И. Пирогова Минздрава России
Детская городская поликлиника № 32 Департамента здравоохранения г. Москвы Филиал № 3
Purpose. To study the frequency of clinical manifestations of infectious syndrome in children aged 7-14 years in an educational institution, as well as to analyze the risk factors for the development of secondary immunodeficiency.
Material and methods. The analysis of the incidence of diseases associated with the SIDS was performed in 1503 schoolage children using copies of medical documentation (the registration form 112U and the form No.26/u-2000) and questioning the parents. A modern criterion, according to which the frequently and long ill children are children with an ARVI repetition from 6 to 12-15 times a year, was used to identify children suffering from frequent respiratory diseases. The study of risk factors for the SIDS development was carried out by a selection collection of anamnesis data from parents of 96 children aged 9-14 years with revealed violations of immune status indices.
Results. Obstetric maternal pathology is often caused by disorders of organogenesis of the fetus, promoting violations of immunogenesis at the cell level, forming the SIDS in children. The performed analysis also showed that diseases associated with secondary immunodeficiency in children aged 7-14 years were detected in 15.97% of cases. A concomitant pathology in children is observed in 64.2% of cases. Diseases of tonsils ring, diseases of the respiratory system, allergic diseases, and also ocular diseases are at the first places in its structure.
Conclusion. Improvement of results in treatment of children with the SIDS combined with progressive myopia should be considered as an integrated approach, and the therapy with immune modulating effects can be one of the most important modern links in the therapeutic chain.
Key words: secondary immunodeficiency, obstetric maternal pathology, frequently and long ill children, undifferentiated dysplasia of connective tissue, myopia.
