Ocular manifestations of hypoplasminogenemia (a case report)

There is described in this article a case of fibrous conjunctivitis in a child. The disease has been revealed at the stage of complication development (traumatic keratitis). It has been diagnosed on the basis of the anamnesis (the start was in the early age, progressive course of the disease), hypoplasminogenemia and clinical (bilateral lesion, presence of dense dendroid pseudomembranes on the tarsal conjunctiva), histological (foci of fibrosis, a dense lymphoid leukocytic cellular inflammatory infiltration with foci of conjunctival planocellular epithelium dysplasia) data.
