    Nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NNC) is a chronic recurrent bowel disease of the immune nature, characterized by diffuse inflammation of the mucosa of the thick intestine. The incidence of ocular pathology in NNC ranges from 1–10%, and can manifest as eye lesions (keratopathy, episcleritis, scleritis, uveitis), and the development of pseudotumor orbital. The article describes a case of development of ophthalmologic symptoms in a patient with ulcerative colitis with a description of the course of the disease and the methods of therapy in the course of dynamic observation.
