    The central retinal artery occlusion (CRA) leading to acute ischemia of the neuronal structures of the eye is one of the most severe ocular pathologies due to the rapid development of the clinical picture, accompanied by persistent loss of vision and requiring immediate treatment.

    The purpose of this work is to describe the features of the clinical picture, course and outcome of occlusion of the superior temporal branch of the CRA due to vaping in a clinically healthy sixteen-year-old patient.

    The experience and results of treating a patient with occlusion of the superior temporal branch of the CRA are described, and data are displayed confirming that in terms of the organ of vision, vaping should be an exclusion factor in the diagnosis of retinal vascular occlusion, especially CRA.
