    The article presents materials about the necessity of preventive and systemic treatment of patients with complicated myopia on the clinical example of a family case of the Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). It is recommended for patients with EDS the observation of specialists, including an ophthalmologist, as well as the timely treatment of Disease complications, the medication therapy at a hospital of Day stay, physical therapy, sanatoriumresort treatment.
