The medical technology stipulates a comparison of the child’s weight and his/her gestational age at the moment of his/her birth with the indices of the dopplerographic investigation of the blood flow in the anterior cerebral artery in the period 2-4 weeks of life. The development of the posterior aggressive premature retinopathy is prognosticated if the resistance index of the anterior cerebral artery is more than 0.83 not less than in two measurements, and in presence of one of the following signs: the child’s weight is equal to 1000g or less, gestational age at the moment of birth is equal to 26 weeks or less. The technology is simple and allows pointing out a risk group of development of posterior aggressive premature retinopathy on the first weeks of a child’s life. The technology is aimed at ophthalmologists and neonatologists of perinatal centers and the departments of premature children nursing.
