    Malignant neoplasm of an eye and its adnexa in a cohort of victims of chronic radiation exposure

    The article presents the results of a study of the incidence of malignant tumors of the eye and periorbital area among the cohort members, exposed due to manmade pollution of the environment along the Techa River and the EastUrals Radioactive Trace over the follow-up period from 1956 till 2015. The pooled cohort consists of 52241 members. 77 cases of malignant tumors of the eye and 75 cases of malignant tumors of adnexa have been stated so far over the whole follow-up period. Soft tissue dose according to TRDS2009 ranges from 0 to 0.2 Gy, mean dose is 0.02 Gy.
